Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Driftwood Inn was quite mixed. The location was great, right on the beach with beautiful views, but the overall condition of the hotel was concerning. The room was relatively clean, but there were significant safety issues, especially regarding the pool area, which is alarming. While the price seemed reasonable for the area, the state of the facilities definitely detracted from the value.
I had a frustrating experience at this hotel. The cleanliness was a major issue, with both rooms I saw having significant problems. Despite being polite when I asked for help, the staff was not accommodating, which added to my disappointment. The place is in dire need of maintenance and better management.
For around $50 a night, this hotel offers great value, especially with its cleanliness and beach access. However, there are some drawbacks, like the annoying noise from the road during bike week and some areas needing remodeling. Overall, it's an old-style beach hotel that could use some upgrades but is comfortable for the price.
